Tips for relief

Without identifying the source it’s hard to suggest the best possible relief.  Here are some tricks others have found to be successful.

CLEANING

Removing carpet and replacing with tile, or hardwood floors.

Windex (brand name, not generic).  Spraying clothing and surfaces seems to repel the culprit.

Vacuuming bedding, floors, clothing and even skin & hair. Be sure and dispose of bag outside of home.

Hot Shot Foggers in green box.

Sealing dirty laundry in zip lock baggies until it can be laundered.

Washing clothing and surfaces in Borax 20 Mule Team Soap.  Found in laundry aisle at the grocery store.

Wiping down walls and ceilings with a swiffer doused in windex.

PERSONAL HYGIENE

Showering with a loofa, or scrubby using anti bacterial soap.

Combing hair with fine tooth comb several times a day.  Combing out dry hair before showering, again in shower while shampooing and again with conditioner.  Using a shampoo and conditioner containing tea tree oil is recommended.

Tea tree oil

Lavender

Salt body scrub that contains epson salts, sea salts, tea tree oil, peppermint oil and lavender.  Spread over damp body and let dissolve into skin, then rinse.

Duct tape or medical tape skin to lift off irritants.

Cutting sugar out of diet

Listerine mouthwash as mouthwash and a skin astringent

LAST RESORT

Throwing out everything and starting over fresh
